Chad Mager

Chad is a multifaceted individual who wears many hats: Pastor, Officiant, Band Member, Life Coach, Husband, and Father. A proud Yooper, he was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but has also enjoyed a few years living in the Greater Chicago area. His time away from home has deepened his appreciation for the unique beauty of the Upper Peninsula.

With wedding officiating experience since 2002 and workshop presentation skills dating back to 1990, Chad has been a motivational and topical speaker since 1997. He brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, with a decade spent as a consultant.

Chad specializes in assessing organizations to enhance effectiveness and strengthen staff relationships. He collaborates with boards of directors to establish visions and ensure optimal organizational performance. His expertise lies in leadership and staff development, making him adept at addressing a wide range of projects and issues that require attention or guidance.

Chad's officiating experience is exceptional, having conducted weddings for over 20 years. His clients often become friends, leaving behind heartfelt reviews filled with praise. He possesses a remarkable intuition, taking the time to truly understand couples during their meetings. As a result, he crafts personalized ceremonies that genuinely reflect who they are as a couple. Heidi Mager

As Chad always says, Heidi is his much better half, and legitimately HALF his size too! Heidi is the engine that keeps LoveMarq going. Her tireless energy and heart for loving people keep this community so loving. She’s the big hug that people seek out (in such a little package) and is always willing to pray with anyone who needs it. As one of the pastors of LoveMarq Church, she is a wonderful example of servant leadership. You’ll often hear Heidi singing on the Music team and even occasionally playing the keyboard. Her baked goods can be found before church during coffee hour and at the monthly church potluck, or if you’re lucky enough to be in a home group with her.

Besides being Chad’s wife of 30+ years, Heidi is the proud mother of 3 (Robbie, Marijke, & Brendan), Mom-in-love of 2 (Jake & Lizzie) and a very proud grandma to 1 (JJ). Her mom and dad are the iconic Don & dort Schlientz, both of whom have been a guiding light and inspiration to both Heidi and Chad and part of the vision for LoveMarq Church.
